Abstract:

Book Page Blocks were constructed to describe the area that contains all parcels that would be mapped on one Assessor map page at a time. The layer was created for use as a mask layer for outlying areas and can be displayed as a solid fill or slightly transparent fill.

Purpose:

To mask surrounding book pages when creating Assessor maps, and to display the book-page reference numbers for the surrounding maps.

Blocks were created by: 1. Creating a book-page field in the attribute table 2. Calculating the first 4 digits off the APN 3. Dissolving with respect to the Book-Page number 4. Splitting ROWs as they cross through Book-Page blocks and coding them with the neighboring / surrounding book-page block.

Completeness_Report:

As long as parcel configurations stay the same, and book-page numbers do not change, this data set is 100% complete. There are some places where a slight adjustment may need to take place to the boundary.
