| Mission: |
- Consolidation
of ownership and removal of in-holdings where possible.
- Disposal
of lands which have lost their National Forest character.
- Conveyance
of lands to local and state goverments, whenever possible.
- Acquire
high priority parcels with high resource value that require
further protection.
- Desire
to retain some USFS property in community areas for the
purpose of employee housing.
- Achieve
the overall Forest Plan objectives.

to acquire land only within the existing National Forest
boundary.
